Art History of Latvia III (edition in Latvian)

The Institute of Art History has published the 3rd volume of "Art History of Latvia" (1780–1890). It is published in two books. 

This is edition in Latvian, there is also a seperate edition in English.

Book 1 (424 pp.) includes general historiography (Eduards Kļaviņš) and surveys of the period of Classicism and Romanticism (1780–1840) in the artistic life (Elita Grosmane), fine arts (Eduards Kļaviņš), book art (Valdis Villerušs), architecture (Imants Lancmanis), applied art (Imants Lancmanis) and folk art (Inese Sirica). 

Book 2 (392 pp.) focuses on the period of Historicism and Realism (1840–1890) in the artistic life (Kristiāna Ābele), fine arts (Eduards Kļaviņš), book art (Valdis Villerušs), architecture (Daina Lāce), applied art and beginnings of industrial design (Silvija Grosa) and folk art (Inese Sirica).
